Visual Storytelling at Macaulay Point
As part of my continuing work with the Capital Regional District (CRD), I was commissioned to capture photography, videography, and drone footage of the Macaulay Point Wastewater Treatment Plant in Victoria, BC.
This project wasn’t just about documenting an industrial facility—it was about showcasing the CRD’s ongoing investment in sustainable infrastructure and its impact on our community and environment.
A Multi-Layered Deliverable
The assignment combined:
• Editorial Photography – on-the-ground images highlighting facility scale, engineering, and environmental integration.
• Videography – motion storytelling to convey scale, process, and human connection.
• Drone Photography & Videography – aerial perspectives to show how the plant connects with Victoria’s waterfront and surrounding landscape.
Together, these deliverables created a versatile visual package for CRD’s communications, annual report, and marketing.
Building Trust Through Visual Media
For organizations, visuals aren’t just decoration—they’re a bridge between technical expertise and public understanding. Photography and video help communicate transparency, sustainability, and community impact in a way words alone cannot.
As a Victoria-based commercial and editorial photographer and videographer, I help organizations tell their stories with clarity, creativity, and professionalism.
